My journey toward aligned entrepreneurship
A path off the beaten track
Since childhood, I’ve been a curious woman, passionate about people, languages, and inner worlds. Early on, I knew I wanted to be free. Free to create, to learn, to travel—and above all, free to grow while staying true to my values. My professional path led me into consulting, where I had the chance to support organizations through deep strategic transformations. But deep inside, another calling was whispering.
From momentum to challenge
That desire for deeper expression and impact drove me to entrepreneurship. My first idea was InfosMama—a digital platform for mothers, designed with love to meet their real needs and daily questions. The project was close to my heart, as I was planning to become a mother myself. I identified fully. And the MVP resonated.
Life’s unexpected turn
But life had other plans. Motherhood didn’t unfold as expected. Family responsibilities, financial pressure, and a call from a close friend and mentor—who was leading a consulting firm—led me to make a hard choice: stability. Reluctantly, I put InfosMama on pause and returned to consulting.
Alignment was no longer optional
Despite success, recognition, and security, I felt a deep dissonance. My body began to speak. So did my emotions. The intense rhythm, the disconnection from my purpose, and personal storms all led me straight into burnout. It was painful—but necessary.
What I thought was solid, broke
I couldn’t force my way forward anymore. That vehicle, that lifestyle, that professional identity no longer served me. Even though things looked fine on the outside, something was broken inside.
The awakening: remembering who I am
I took a real pause—two years of reconnection with myself, my true desires, my natural rhythm. One day, I opened an old notebook and saw the word Tegawende again. My middle name. In Mooré, it means “God is my support.” In that moment, I knew I had found the heart of my mission.
Tegawende: an entrepreneurial rebirth
I decided to create a space that brings together everything I am: strategist, human, intuitive, grounded, and visionary. Tegawende is both a consulting agency and a coaching space—for individuals and organizations who want to grow differently. With meaning. With care. And with effectiveness. And with deep humanity.
The rewards of a reimagined path
Since coming back, I’ve supported entrepreneurs, consultants, transitioning leaders, purpose-driven travelers, and evolving organizations. I’ve seen sparks return to tired eyes. Projects come alive. Sustainable strategies take root.
Today, I am home
I’m not perfect. But I am whole.
